Ho was charged to-day before Mr McCarthy, Stipendiary, and ploaded guilty to hooping the hotel opon and serving beer duriug prohibited hours, The Crown Proseoutor said ho recognised that Mr Hay had been misled by tho Stanford judgment, and he did not press for moro than a nominal penalty, The Magistrate imposed a fino of one shilling and costs, remarking that defendant had committed an offence undor tho sanction of a magisterial judgment, The license would no; be endorsed.
