The hospital ship Orel is expectoi at Shanghai.
The limes' St. Petersburg correspondent says that Admiral Birilofl will eventually succeed Admiral Rozhdestvensky.
The latter, although his nerves are shattered, is believed to be physically able to engage the foe, and, once at Vladivostok, will be entitled to resume his post as Chief: of the Naval-Staff.
Birilofl will bo allowed ample leisure to prepare for the journey.
Thia is interpreted to mean that a further sojonm of tho fleet in southern waters is anticipated.
