London, May 9 Mr Whittakir, at a sitting of the Grand Committee, moved the withdrawal of the Trades Disputes Bill on the ground that it was ruined by an amendment providing that noskikoraahould wilfully obsttuot, insult, or annoy by public picketing He remarked that such aolauso would en. able a professional gang to lay themsolves out to be,nnnoyed. Lord Hugh Coeil deolared that tho motion was an electioneering dodge. The motion, by 26 to 22, was negatived. The Liberal and Labour members quitted the meeting.
