He had understood that, generally Bpeaking, the present arrangement was satisf'ictory to the groat bulk of patent medicine proprietors, The only question was tho host way to protect tho public from deleterious medicine. Bo could not see that tho 'proprietors of patent medicines had anything to fear under the regulation. Ho simply lodged his formula confidentially with the Minister for Public HooMi, and it did not go on record in the Department in any way. There must be a misronop-. tion on the part of the proprietors who were agitating in the mauor. Howovor, he would look into the matter again,
