(Deceived This Day 9 50 a,ra.) St Petersburg, May 3
Startling revelations have been made before tho commission investigating the surrender of Port Arthnr, Evidence was given that Gentral Stoessol and his wife owned forty cows, and were feeding them on bread while the garrison was short of rations, The milk was sold at 2s per bottle.
An officer testified that he pai Stoessel 70s for a turkey.
