Mr. Ttcmbath complimented the official and clerical staffs and other borough omployoes upjn the oxoellenco of their work. Mr Burns, in replying, thanked the retiring Mayor for his kindly remarks and the Council for the cordial manner in which they promised to support , his efforts. A pleasant social function followed, when the healths of the Mayor aiid retiring Mayor were honoured,
