Hamilton, this day At tho Ngaruawahia Polic Court Paea, alias William Campbell, of Waingaro, m charged with having committed incest with oneKiriobo, who is alleged to bo bis sister. The woman also appeared on the samo charge. Hone Pakene said that the mother of both tho accused was Tenia Hohana and that the Tuber w«s a Enro pean who lived at Taupiri. He knew iboir mother well. Ha bad seen her nursing and feeding the accused. The accused lived at Kiwhia, and ennw to Waingaro, and had two children living with them. After coming to the latter place two more children were born, Tho accusod lived together ns man and wife for four years. Tho native were angry at thoir conduct, Several other native witnesses gave ovidonoo that accused were brother and sister. For iho deferce evidence was given that Kirioho was Paea'a first cousin, and was adopted by .his mother. Acousod were committed for trial,
