I Press Afieociatiou.—Copyright. | London, April 28 Thb Admiralty has issued tho following :- "There is ono 12-inch, mark, eight cracked muzsslogun aboard the Mijostio, and a oecond gun showed signs of a omok in tho inner (A) tube. They h»d fired an equivalent to sixty-six and soventy-fivo full charges, aud tho steal in tho inner (A) tube was found fo bo soft, Ihis is the probable causa of tho wooknoss. Tho two guns are being repaired, and will short'y bo re-issued, Regarding tho statements published, it* is sufficient to quote tho fact that the first twelve-inch mark eight guns fired 162 full charges before being re-lined, Tho Admiralty adds: "Theguns afloat that fired tho numbor of rounds aro aboard tho Mars, Crew and Jupitor. Thoy fired an •equivalent to over sixty full charges, and still are psrfectly serviceable." Two big wire guns on board the battleship Albion and ono on tho Glory havo been roplacod. The Naval and Military Beoord states /that all tho Atlantic fleet of battloships havo had tho bardotto nuns changed.
