At tho Warden's Court this morning. Mr H. S. Bush, Warden, presiding, the following applications wore dealt with, Application by Joseph Thorrtss for Waibi Discovery s.c—Recommended, Application by 11. L. Somers for the Martha United s.o—Granted, Application by the Wailii Borough Council for water conservation; dam site, Walmsley's Croek; special dam site, Walmsley's Creok; and reserve (Town Belt) were adjourned till next court day. Application by E, S. Oliver for spring reßorve wbb objected to by Mr Jaokson on behalf of the Borough Council. ' The Wardon refused the application, as the Borough wanted it for a reserve. Mr , Jackson said he would not ask for expenses, whereupon 'Mr Bush rotortod if ho did ho would not grant any. Aprlioation by,R, H, Savoy for section, Waikiiio. Granted. Application by J. Application by Daniel Rugg for section 126, Waikino, Granted. j Application by Riohard Oollior for certificate of abandonment of section 23, Waikino.—Gra/ited, In an application by v Margaret Hinks for a residence sito near tho hospital, Mr Jackson who appeared for the applicant explained to the Warden that he was aware that tho Hospital Board objected to seotions noar the Hospital Reserve being granted, but in this case tho applicant line] made her application before tho Hospital Board had decided to object to sections in this locality beiug granted. Mr. Jackson contended that, tho status of his applicant was tetter than tho Hospital Board. The Warden said that he hud boon over the hospital reservo and ho had mado up his mind not to grant any applications for sections noar the hospital Ho considei ed tbe proximity of the morgue and soptio tank renderod the vicinity undesirable for residence sites. After consulting tho plan presented by courftel, tho Wardon said ho would hold tho application over. An application by W. S! Nicholl for a prospecting license to cover a small area in the Tairua district was the outcome of soino discussiou., The Warden raised.the question as to whether the area appltod for was held by the Crown or was held by the Kauri Timber Company. He wanted to be satisfiod on this point before granting tho application,

Mr Mueller, who appeared for the applicant, produced a' plan of the looality, showing the, area applied for lyas on Crowa lands, Tho application was then granted, Application by J, A. Shaw for six months' protection of residonce site, at Waihi.—Granted.
