As tho outcome of an inquiry nt tho provious ineorting by Mr Saunders as to tho cost of supplying milk to tho hospital, a stateiuont wis read to tho meeting showing that for tho past twelvo months tho milk bill was £135 7s, the cost of vogo tables and butter nddod ranking a totnl of £2OO 17s.
Tho Chairman explained that tho enquiry had been made with a view ot considering tho advisability, from an economic point, of purchasing somo cows in order that tho hospital might supply its own milk.
Tho question of tho supply of vegetables was also raised. On tho motion of Mr Drown it was re solved that tho quostion of tho supply of milk and vegetables bo hold over lill a futuro mooting.
