The report of the Committee appointed by the Government, to inquire into the case of Adolf Beck suggests that instead of the election of a new Court of Appeal, a alight change should be made to compel the Judge to Btate a case for tho consideration o( the Court, Crown oases being resorved, Tho Committee points out that a miscarriage of justice in Beck's case would have been romodied in the first instanoe if the Recorder, Sir Forrest Fulton, had concoded the point regarding a comparison of the inoriuiiiiattog documents of 1877 and 1896, Tho Homo Office is soverely blamed for not communioating to the Public Prosecutor or the police the discovery in 1898 that Beck was not Smith, The Committee suggests various moans of improv ing the judioial administrative machinery,
