It was resolved to form H Hospital Conference m Waihi under Hie Litlo of tho Wailu United Friondly Societies' Hoapitnl Conference. Tho following omcois were elected for the ousuing your: President, liro, !I, McCinliny; vice prciidont, Bro. CCiows; secretary, Bro, J. Malcolmson | treasurer, Bro. J. Livesoy, trustees, Bros. Cooiiey, Lang and Tonge; auditors, Bros. Sojmour imtl Hen.
It was decided to open an account with the National Bunk of New Zealand, in tho nomo of tho Conference, all cheques lo be signed by the socretary and treasui or,
It- was resolved lo insure tho secretary and treasurer in the Mutual Fidelity and Guarantee Society ofFriondly Sooieties for the sum of £3O each.
A sub-conmiifee was appointed, com* prising Bros. McC'iirthny, Clows, Lang, JMcolmson.Livcscy and Seymour, lo draft rules to suit local requirements and submit them lo a special meeting, The secretary was requested to write toStlie local lire brigndo thankim; them for tho use of their board-room for meetings in the past and intiaianng that future meetings of tho Hospital Co.v fertnee would bo hold in tho Foresters' Hall,
It was unanimously resolved that tho annul lo\y bo 6s (payablo half-yearly), that boing the lowest, possible amount upon which tho local conference could safely guarantee hospital benefit, Should anyone joining the conference prefer any othor than tho loci hospital for treatment during sickness, ole, the couferoncj to uimei'tiko to pay the member or his wife 14 shillings per week, and lor every child up to 16 years of ago seven shillings per week.
