Tiio decoased came to Auckland over fifty years ago, Ho was a reporter on the newspapei Southern Cross, Auckland, and was also woll known as secrctnry of tho Calodonian mine, Thames, during tho first boom. Ho was chairman of the first Mount Eden Road Board, and was original propriotor of the Northern Aihoomo, started in 1874, Deceased's family was grown up, and his widow survives him.
