As n result of the recent raid at Gove Henry Vczey was charged at lklclutlia this morning with having for salo twenty bottless of beer and thirteen hollies of whisky, Accused kept a small fruit shop, and tho inferonco was sought to ho drawn ihat in aback room, where tho liquor was kept, discreet persons could enter, assist thomselves, and leave tho money whilo accused was in Iho front shop, where ho had a good view. Accused denied that tho ivhisky belonged to or had been ordered by him. A conviction was recorded, and a lino of £SO and costs was iollicted.
