The Minister, while favouring Power Boards for the larger areas promised to give his decision next wek. As Postmaster-General, the Hon. Coaxes received a deputation from settlers of the Kairanga County, who asked for a rural mail delivery in the part of the county they resided in. The Minister said Mr Morns was visiting Canada to study the postal system of that country, which was the most progressive in the world, and the Government was awaiting his report, hence the reason why the rural deliveries had been left in abeyance.
