Douglas, captain of the English team, referring to Saturday’s cable, said he was always ready to accept advice, but in this particular instance he was in a better position to Judge what was best than those 13,000 miles away. The Board of Control has invited Armstrong, Collins, Macartney and Pellew to play for Australia against England at Brisbane.
