N.Z. TEAM WINS EMPIRE TROPHY. -

Received November 19, 9.30 a.m. MELBOURNE. Nov. 19. In the final stages of the Empire Trophy, the New Zealanders, having to catch the train for Sydney, .rushed matters at the the 900 and 1000 yards ranges which were fired in rapidly changing light and fishtailing winds, .getting their shots away in quick succession at the 1000 yards range. However, they managed to put up the best total, scoring 310. Britain scored 285 and Australia 277.
