ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES

POUNIfeDROWNED. (Per United Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, Angust 28. Word has been received that the body of Bartholomew Hartford has been found in the Mangaroa River. Hartford had been missing from Ohura for some days. The ponce, dragged the stream and recovered the body. At the inquest a verdict of found drowned was returned. Hartford was a labourer, aged 56, a native of Dublin, and had been in illhealth.
