AUSTRALIAN POLITICS. PERTH, August 27. Mr Prendergast, Leader of the Opposition, launched a censure motion against the Government for failure to adopt the report of the Pair Profits Commission. BRISBANE, August 27. Professor Johnson, of Auckland, dealt with the influence of heredity in relation to offspring at the Medical Congress. He urged that such knowledge should be utilised in an endeavour to improve the race.
