ARGENTINE’S WOOL SURPLUS

BUENOS AIRES, August 25. President Irigoyen recommended the enactment of a law exempting wools from export tax and authorising the Government to negotiate with foreign countries for the sale of wool, credit extending not more than two years. The measure was intended to aid holders of wool to dispose of largo surplus stocks accumulated on accoiint of a slack market. The Argentine National Bank would discount documents of sale.
