ANTWERP, August 28. In the semi-final of the hundred metres swim, Herald’s time wae 64 4-5 seconds. It equalled Ross’s, but he was placed third, though the general opinion was that he came second in the final, which, however, was ordered to be re-swum. Kealoha, who filled the second place, took 61 2-5 seconds. In the first heat of the fifteen hundred metres’ swim, Beaurepaire led all the way and finished fifty metres ahead of Kahere. Time, 1375 seconds. Details of the semi-final of the 1500 metres’ swim show that the first heat resulted ; Ross 1, Kohele 2, Bolden 3; time, 1432 2-5 seconds. Second heat; Beaurepaire 1, Yernot (Canada) 2, Annison (England) 3; time, 1379 2-5 seconds. Beaurepaire led all the way. Tho final of the hundred metres will be swum on Sunday.
