(5.15 a.m.), 224 tons, Eden, from Wellington. Alexander, r-.s. (5.43 a.m.), 3(7 tons, Wilcman, from Tarakohe. BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND, August 25. A t-tt't pd.—Citv of Gonuth, from Nc vi York, at S a.m. WELLINGTON, August 24. Sailed—lnvercargill (2.50' p.m.), for Watganui. TARAKOHE, August 24. Sailed Alexander (4 p.m.), for IS anjanui. The White Pine crossed inwards yesterdav afternoon, after a 20 days passage from Newcastle. The sailer left the New South Wales pert on the 3rd, and met with very rough weather, a succession of gales being met with till oft the Now Zealand coast. A consignment of coal was brought over, portion of which was discharged at the Freezing Works at CastkcliS. The White Pine will later come up to the Gasworks wharf to discharge a quantity of coal there. The Calm came up to the town wharf last r-ight, end completed discharge this rrerning. She is to sail this afternoon for the South. Wsnganm shipping is being affected by thelioM-up at Wellington, the intercity trade being virtually susjiended. The Invercargill arrived this morning with rase oil and general, which was discharged as usual. A full lead of cement was brought here this morning by the Alexander from the Golden Bay works
