POULTRY AND PRODUCE. A large entry of poultry was disposed of at Messrs Williams and Harper’s weekly sale at the mart. Hens ranged from 10/3 to 13/ per pair, pullets 14/3, roosters 8/ to 13/6 and ducks 10/ to 11/3. Pigs: Porkers sold at 25/- to 3 5/-. Prices in produce were as follows: —Hay £9 per ton, South Island potatoes 13/- per sack apples 8/- to 9/- per case, pears 3/- per half case, cauliflowers 12/- per doz, cabbages 3d each, melons 4d each, chaff 10/to 11/- per sack.
