Roberts" whose well stocked store at No. 1 Pitt Street (near River Rank) lias now been closed down. The sale, which is advertised in the auction columns of this issue, will commence at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday next, and as this is a tare opportunity for cheap groceries it is hoped that, every Wanganui household will be represented. Your attention is directed to the sale advertised iu our auction columns today, wherein John Coull advertises a sale of io,oo;>ffc of heart timber on behalf of Messrs Walpole and Patterson, at the site of the new English Sunday School buildings, Victoria Avenue (between Ingestro and Plymouth Streets). This timber is especially suitable for outbuildi igs. and will be sold, at 2 p.m. sharp.
