VISITING PRESSMEN
WITH PRINCE'S PARTY. TAXED IN AUSTRALIA. Received August 19, 940 a.m. SYDNEY, August 19. Hie Federal Income Tax Department sought the visiting pressmen with the Prince’s party and collected an aggregate of £-o in taxation for a period of SO days’ stay in Atstralia. The remainder of tlie party were not taxed. The incident is likely to create criticism, and is regarded as a bad advertisement for Australia.
