THE CHURCH ARMY SAVE THE CHILDREN' FUND.

Sir,—We commenced this appeal on July 21 for rhe Church Army, to try and raise funds to save some of the three and a lialf millions of children that Mr Hoor?r says will die unless milk is provided, and this can only be by private charities. A late London paper says that in some parts of Russia there are no children alive under seven years of age. Already it seems that Mr Hoover’s fears are only too well founded, By all means let us try and save some. From July 21st to August sth wo received £ 101 10s 4d, and on August 10th scut to London £IOO. Sent Home on August 17th, £163 3s This appeal was advertised in your columns, and particular stress was laid on Mr Hoover's words that three and a half million children in Central Europe would die unless milk is provided by private charity.
