Received August IS, 9.45 a.m., SYDNEY, August is. Further rail and tram increases are' foreshadowed. The Financial Statement for the past year shows that the earnings of the railways were 13 millions, and of the tramways £2, 800,000, while the expenses will be 9-)- millions and reapactivdly. Their total credit is £3, 900,000, interest four millions, and deficit ,£137,574.
