High water This evening, 12.20; to-morrow morning, 12.39. ARRIVALS. WEDNESDAY. AUGUST 18. Invercargill, s.s. (10.20 a.m.), 224 tons, Eden, from Wellington. Hula, s.s. (10.25 a.m.), 127 tons, Burton, from Ft. Nelson. The Huia arrived this morning from Picton, where she had been weather hound.’ Upon her return to Wellington she loads again ior Picton and Wanganui. The liner Hororata is now fixed to sail from Wellington next- Saturday for New York via Panama. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Matatua, now discharging Liverpool cargo at Auckland, is to leave the latter port on Thursday for Wellington. The vessel is due there on Saturday. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer W T oodarra will leave London about September 10 with general cargo for discharge at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff. The New Zealand and African Company has received wireless advice from the Ayrshire, en route from Liverpool, stating that the vessel will arrive at Auckland on the 28th inst.
