Tlie Auckland Star says that before next election, if the assurance of Auckland Farmers’ Union delegates to the recent conference is fulfilled', a fanners’ party will be in the field of politics. Never previously has the project that the union should take an active part in politics received more support than at the recent conference. The delegates reported accordingly at the meeting of the various provincial conferences of Ihe union, with a view to having it definitely decided at the next Dominion Conference.
