To the Editor. Sir.—Can you inform me whether the gentleman who presided at last night s meeting in the Druids’ Hall, protesting against giving a few acres of the Racecourse to the Railway Department, was the same Cr. Richardson who, as chairman of the Reserves Committee, endeavoured to force proposals through the Borough Council giving a portion of St. John’s Hill as a hostel site for the children of well-to-do parents outside of Wanganui and take away the piaygicund in front of the Drill Hall Horn the children P—l am, etc., CONSISTENT.
