DR. MANNIX.

REMOVED FROM THE BALTIC By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Received August 10, 2.30 p.m. LONDON, August 9. A naval officer boarded the Baltic and conveyed Commissioner Macready s prohibition against Archbishop Manuix lending in Ireland and Field Marshal Sir Henry Wilson s prohibition against his visiting Liverpool, Manchester, and Glasgow'. Otherwise Archbishop Mannix is free to go anywhere in Britain. Dr. .Mannix twice refused the officer's persuasion, and molested against being ordered to quit the ship. The officer then placed his hand on Dr. Mannix s shoulder, and he, regarding this as a legal arrest, boarded the destroyer.
