A condition of anarchy prevails in Frankfurt. Illinois, owing to trouble between Italian mine workers and other citizens, arising out of the finding of two boys, who had been allegedly kidnapped and brutally murdered. Severe street fighting followed in which seven were killed and sixty-five wounded, many houses of foreigners being burned. The Mayor orccrred the Italians to leave the town, and four companies of troops have been sent to restore order.
