Australian Hurdles.—Silver Heart 9.4 (Price) 1, Pistolier 10.4 (Thompson) 2 Bright Plume 11.2 (Cairns) 3. Entering the straight the second time Sandule was several lengths ahead. Silver Heart began to close up, and at the half mile was only a length behind Sandule. While still leading, the latter fell at the hurdle before the turn. Silver Heart then took charge and led round the turn from Pis toner, Bright Plume, Kilowat, Sir Menmon. At the last jump Telecles fell. Going on. Silver Heart won by eix lengths, with eight lengths between second and third. Kilowat was fourth. Two Bines was last. Time; 6.361, a record for the tacc. *
