IMMIGRATION RESTRICTION. (By Telegraph—Special to “Herald”). WELLINGTON, Aug. 9. The Government will take the first opportunity this week of putting through the Expiring Laws Continuance Bill, which renews protection to rentpayers till August, 1921. * Its Immigration Bill, further limiting the immigration of Asiatics, has been finally considered by Cabinet, and may appear during the week.
