U.S. PRESIDENCY. COX’S GOOD CHANCE. LONDON, July 9. Colonel House, interviewed in London, stated that the women’s vote bad doubled the number of electors for the United States Presidency. The election turned on three questions, the cost of living, prohibition, and the League of Nations. The prohibition prospects are to the advantage of Governor Cox (the Democratic nominee), particularly in the south, which is democratic. If Cox gets 90 votes m the west and north ht will probably command a working majority.
