Association.—May 3, 9.50 a.m, LONDON, May 2. The railwaymen'a “work to rule'* threat has fizzled out in London, except among a few extremists on the goods staff at Paddington and Huston stations. An overwhelming majority, particularly of men engaged in the suburban lines and underground, seemed determined to accelerate the service. The threat proved a fiasco in the provinces, and HI the main line trains arrived and departcd from London terminus punctually. Ib is believed that the railwaymen reoog.'>,v use that uncanny’* methods are un- 1 popular, and merely prejudice the execu- ' tive’s wages negotiations.
