A considerable, quantity of cargo was handled on the waterfront to-day, and at an early hour this afternoon the holds of the four boats were empty so that they would be able to put to sea this evening! Up to the time of going to press nothing had been heard of the Prince's movejnients for the next day or two, and the presumption, therefore, is that he will proceed to 'Wellington by sea, and that what follows his arrival there will be a matter of future arrangement. Messrs Murray, Roberts aud Co. held, a special land sale at Feilding yesterday >’,f 536 acres of dairying and fattening land, the property of Mrs E. Short which had been subdivided into small farms of from 70 to 90 acres. The land aggregated ,£58,380 and sold at from £SO to <£lso.
