THE SHANTUNG QUESTION
GREAT DEMONSTRATIONS IN CHINA. Received February 21, 9 a.m. A. & N.Z. SHANGHAI, Feb. 20. In a demonstration calling on the Government to refuse to enjfer into Shantung negotiations with Japan, and requesting the Government to refer the subject to the League of Nations. The demonstration, which lasted more than two days, took the form of a mass meeting, with the closing of Chinese stores,'and the holding of parades.
