ENTERPRISING FIRM

PURCHASES LARGE PREMISES. A business deal of interest was announced to a “Herald” representative this morning by Mr Carrington, manager of the* N.Z. Trawling Co. The company has, been in business in Wanganui for three or four years, and recognising the great possibilities of development in such a progressive town as Wanganui, has purchased larger premises for the operation of its business. Negotiations have just been completed whereby the firm has purchased the whole of the premises now occupied by T. C. Seed and Co,, at the corner of Ridgway and St. Hill Streets, and next to its present premises. It is the intention of the firm to have extensive alterations carried out with the view to converting them into one of the finest fish shops and restaurants in the Dominion. A room will be specially set apart for ladies. The new premises will be opened at the earliest possible moment. The company proposes, as soon as the shortage of coal will permit, to bring one of its steam trawlers to Wanganui for the local trade.
