ORGANISATION TO SECURE ' EMPLOYMENT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, Feb. 7. A meeting of the Imperial Ex-Ser-vice Association, held at Australia House this afternoon, Major-Gen-eral Sir Frederick Maurice presiding, unanimously passed a resolution in favour of amalgamation with the Officers’ Association, and supporting in every way the scheme outlined at a meeting at the Mansion House on 31st January. Viscount Haig, in a speech, said he had at heart one great organisation to obtain employment for exservice men of all ranks in the Empire. He emphasised that they did not want charity but an opportunity to work with the prospect of a happy future. (Cheers).
