COINS HIDDEN IN WOODEN LEG. (Reuter.) Received February 9. 10.30 a.m. NEW YORK, Peb. 6. A Denver message states that the mint authorities have recovered £20,000 sterling, xvhich was stolen by an employee who walked away daily with a hundred gold coins secreted in a slot in his wooden leg.
