Public Notices, NJOTTCE is hereby given- that the ~ ' Gonville and Castlecliff Tramway Board proposes to raise under The Local Bodies Loan Act, 1913, a special loan of £SOOO (to be called “The Gonville and Castlecliff Tramway Board TVam■'■way Extension Loan”) for the following purposes: 1 The construction and equipment of the following extensions to the present tramway system of the Board for (a) The extension of the present loop line in Puriri Street along to the corner of Puriri Street and Rata Street, and thence along Rota Street to a point approximately 21 chains west of the intersection of Raupo Street with Rata Street, a total distance ’of approximately Illchains. (b) The extension of the present loop line in Cross Street along that street to its junction with Rata Street, and thence along Rata Street to the intersection of Mosstown Road, a distance of approximately 12| chains. (c) The construction of a balloon loop from the present tramway near its present terminus in Rangiora Street, Castlecliff, across part of Rangiora Street on and around part of file land comprised in the plan of Castlecliff Extension Township No. 4 Deposited Plan No. 3012 Bounded on the north-east by Karaka Street, 6 chains on the south-east by Rangiora Street, 2-| chains on the south-west by Sections 97 and 108 inclusive on Deposited plan No. 3012 6 chains and on the north-west by Section 250 on Deposited plan No. 3012 2| chains, and of the sections and of Karaka Street adjoining the said piece of land. 2. The erection of shelter sheds at coavenient points along side the Board’s Tramway for passengers awaiting trams. 3. Installation of a drainage system and other permanent improvements to the Board’s property adjoining the Castlecliff terminus of the trams. The Security for such loan to be by the pledge of an annual recurring special rate of an amount sufficient at the time of raising such loan to produce <£lo pei centum per annum in excess of the annual and other charge in respect of such loan, but not exceeding |d in the <£ on the unimproved value of all rateable property on the Gonville and Castlecliff Tramway District to be levied for the purpose of the payment of interest and sinking fund of such special loan. Such Loan, to be repaid on the 2nd December, 1931, and the Provision for repayment of such loan to be the establishment and maintenance of a sinking fund during the currency of such loan of <£l per centum on the amount for the time being of the said loan actually borrowed, such sinking fund to he applied for or towards repayment of euch loan. The Cost of raising such loan and the first year’s interest and sinking fund to be paid out of such loan. And Notice is Hereby Further Given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Gonville and Castlecliff 'Tramway District will be taken on such proposal on the 15th day of March, 1920, and that Polling Booths will be situate at the Town Hall at Castlecliff and at the Town Hall at Gonville.
