UNDELIVERED POSTAL PACKETS.
THE DEPARTMENTAL ENQUIRY. FINDING BY MAGISTRATE, (Per United Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Jan. 31. Mr Page, S. M., who recently held a departmental enquiry into a case in which Joseph Murphy, a postman, was charged with having on or about 10th December last failed to deliver certain postal packets, has decided that the evidence is insufficient to establish the guilt of the employee concerned. The postal matter referred to was sent to Wellington Post Office by the Rev. R. S. Gray, of the New Zealand Alliance, and was found floating in the boat harbour, not having been delivered to the addressees.
