The nominations for the handicap events at the sports close this evening' with the secretary (Mr A. Syme), box 224, and they are sure to be very satisfactory. An excellent programme has been arranged for the concert, which should be a record success. Amongst the artists engaged are such great ites as Mr Farquhar Young, Miss Mildred Wrighton (both of Christchurch). Master Grieve (Christchurch), Miss Harrison (Napier), and J. McKenzie and Daisy McLennan (Wellington), besides local talent. It will thus be seen that the programme will be one of the firstclass, and a big house is assured.
