Trial.—Some Kid 1, Clean Sweep 2, Checkmate 3. Scratched; Single Rose, Tokorahi, Belgian King, Larissa, Castellan, Foochow, and Iridian. Won by half a length. Time, 1.27 4-5. Hornby Welter—Warform 1, Bellshire 2, Recorder 3. Scratched 1 Burrangong and Bombproof. Won by a neck. Time, 1.42 3-5.
