Tho boxing carnival to be bold on February 7th, arranged by the Hamilton Boxing Association, is arousing keen interest throughout tiie Dominion in view of the fact that J. Clabby is to meet J. Tracey for a £4OO purse. Inquiries for reserved, seats have been received from all parts, including the West Coast, Invercargill, Blenheim, Dunedin, Napier, Gisborne, Wellington, Timaru, Christchurch, Auckland, Whangarei and Dargavillo. Lyn Robinson is also to meet W. Oliver.

LONDON, January 27

Bombardier Wells knocked out Harry Reeve in the fourth round at the Canterbury Music Hall. A huge crowd witnessed the match. Wells settled down quickly, and Reeve was defending throughout the fight. Wells boxed splendidly, and finally landed a terrific right swing on Hie jaw of his opponent, who was counted out. At the National Sporting Club, Mike Honeyman defeated Billy Merchant on points for the feather-weight championship.
