BUSINESS NOTES

M. MARK, CHEMIST. It is always pleasant to record the augmentation of business houses locally, showing as it does that there is a steady increasing confidence in Wanganui as a trading centre. The latest to strike out on his own account is Mr M. M. Clark, M.P.S., N.Z., and his new pharmacy will be found in the Avenue, opposite the Catholic Church. Mr Mark is already well and most favourably known in Wanganui, where he has most satisfactorily filled the position of manager of the Friendly Societies’ Dispensary, and he, therefore, starts business under the most favourable circumstances. The stock of drugs and chemists’ requisites is entirely new, and the best of drugs are promised in making up prescriptions.
