Ebert and Nosko prosecuted the editor of the newspaper Satyr on a charge of criminal libel in caitooning them as a boar and a monkey respectively. The Judge acquitted the edit or, declaring that the Court must not- set- a petty standard when literal views should prevail in Germany.
