McDouball, an ex-Member of the Labour Party in the House of Representatives, who admitted writing offensive verses about soldiers, was’ seised by a party of returned men at his home, near Ararat, who stripped, tarred, and feathr ered him, and released him on the crowded streets at Ararat.
