The Kaieri is now dry from end to end- Present appears nces indicate that the damage to the hull is between the stokehold, bulkhead, and the after engine room bulkhead. A diver is examining the ship this afternoon. The Watersiders refused the Union Company’s offer of 3s per hour for day work, and 5s per hour overtime while working the Karori’s cargo. They demand 7s 6d per hour for day work and 10s per hour overtime*
